I’m a hot mess

From reading other peoples blogs I’ve realized that not only am I all over the place (adult ADD is such a bitch) but I’m also not that interesting about 90% of the time. Damn. Time for a change obviously. I’ve decided I’m going to have to go against my rule of not talking about boys on my blog. Boys make life interesting, haha. and rules were made to be broken

Today is my favorite holiday.. HALLOWEEN!! I’m sure there will be lots of stories to tell after tonight and tomorrow night. My costume is below. I’m so excited!

Today is the last day of Hurricane season (or tomorrow…) so thats the random fact of the day.

In case you were curious… Hurricane names.

I just read my post about hurricane names and last night I did a bunch of research on it. I dont know why, HUrricanes are really cool to me. and im thinking of moving to key west so i was looking at their history. So, there has never been a Hurricane Heather, ever. There are 6 lists of 21 names that they recycle every six years, so this years list (like hurricane Hanna) wont be used again for 6 more years. UNLESS the hurricane is so damaging and costly that it would be considered in bad taste to reuse the name because of peoples bad memories of the storm. like Katrina… that name is now retired. there are 67 hurricane names that are now retired. SO im excited b/c im hoping Hanna is gonna be HUGE. Go on Hanna, be catastrophic. Then maybe it will be my turn when they replace the girl H name. I know thats awful but I just want a Hurricane named after me, is that so wrong? and if Hanna was really bad it would completely ruin my families beach trip next week, so that kinda sucks. but whatev, ok back to work.

Stupid things that bother me

This is gonna be short b/c I’ve got tons of shit to get done. But anyways, on that note, Tomorrow, no, scratch that, tonight Im going to Key west. Yes Im excited but pissy at the same time. why is it always something? some stupid hurricane or flight delay or i have to work while im on vaca? Evidently Gustav (Hurricane) Isn’t really coming near Key West, so thats good. and now theres another hurricane (that also isn’t hitting key west) but thats not the point. the point is that ever since I can remember Ive wanted a hurricane named after me. and Since my name starts with an H, i figured this had to be my year. NO. They named it Fucking Hanna. I dont even know why this upsets me so much except now i have to wait two more years to hope for a hurricane to be named after me. its the stupidest thing in the world to get mad about but really..??!? I swear they had a hurricane hannah (with an H so original) like 6 years ago, bullshit. but it still kinda bothers me. i cant help it. i really just wanna buy a teeshirt that says “i survived hurricane heather”. that would be cool.

what else bothers me? that its already getting freagin cold here. ok not reallycold at all, its like 60’s at night (COLD TO ME). but being used to the south for 6 years. I think I might die up here.
